The Condominium

The ‘Ocean View I’ private condominium is equipped with secured entry and exit points. A porter is available 24 hours daily. There is a swimming pool at the front of the complex, which is for the exclusive use of the residents of the condominium. Also near the swimming pool is a private outdoor parking area reserved for the residents of the condominium, where one of the parking spaces can be occupied for each apartment rented. Usually there is no problem finding a space in the private parking area, but in any case, there is plenty of street-side parking.

The Apartment

The large open space terrace with spectacular ocean views is furnished with an outdoor dining set, deck chairs and retractable sun canopies that cover the entire terrace. The apartment has one en-suite double bedroom and two double bedrooms with a shared bathroom. The suite and one of the other bedrooms have open and uninterrupted view to the Atlantic Ocean and have direct access to the terrace. At the entrance of the apartment there is a guest bathroom, and furthermore a charming and cozy sitting/dining room with comfortable furniture and a fully equipped kitchen.

Appliances in the kitchen include an oven/hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, an electrical kettle, a juicer, a coffee percolator, a clothes washer and a dishwasher.

Services

Linen, bath towels and beach towels are provided to our guests and air-conditioning and heating systems are available in each of the rooms, as well as a central radio system. A tv and dvd player are also available for guest use. Internet and English tv channels are also available. We offer if requested upon booking, a weekly cleaning service of the flat that includes a change of bedsheets and towels at an extra charge. We can arrange additional cleaning on a daily basis (to be paid directly to the cleaning lady) only if requested and confirmed upon booking.

Turzain’s Welcome Basket

On arrival and for your comfort we provide a Welcome Basket that includes a starter pack of groceries: tea, coffee, sugar, milk, bread, butter, cheese, eggs, bottled water, wine, juice, seasonal fruits, hand soap, a dental kit, toilet paper, kitchen roll, washing up liquid, dish washing tablets and clothes washing detergent.

Food & Drink

Located across the road is Casa da Guia with all of its specialty shops, boutiques and restaurants offering a variety of cuisines Japanese, Swedish, Brazilian & typical Portuguese. One of the best bakery/cafés in Cascais is at your doorstep, offering freshly baked breads & pastries and light lunches. The Cascais Marina hosts many restaurants, cafes and bars and is a 25-minute walk away, with several restaurants along the way. A short drive away are an assorted choice of restaurants, from the most typical ‘tasca’ to the most luxurious Michelin star establishments.

Activities (beaches, golf, tennis, cycling, walking)

Leisure beaches, surfing beaches, a health and fitness centre, tennis, golf and sailing facilities are all within walking distance. Also enjoy the purpose-built cycling/walking, and running path, which runs across the road towards either Cascais or Guincho beach. The condominium is located approximately 25 minutes walk from the Marina of Cascais and about 30 minutes walk to the center of town. Two of the most exclusive golf courses (Quinta da Marinha and Oitavos) are within 5 minutes drive by car from the condominium. The Estoril golf course, Estoril conference center and Estoril Casino are an approximately ten minute’s drive by car.

Transportation (buses, bicycles, taxis, train)

The area around the apartment is well served by public transport. Paid bus services are available two minutes walk from the condominium, that take you to the town center and also to Cascais Shopping, the best shopping center in the area, where you can find a diverse variety of shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and cinemas offering a selection of the latest movies in English. Bicycles are available for free hire across the street from the apartment. Taxis are reasonably priced and arrive within minutes of ordering. The train station to Lisbon city centre is a short bus or taxi ride away from the apartment.
