There are several major golf courses in the Cascais area. Each course is very different and all are driving distance of each other. It is the selection of golf courses in and around Cascais that entice golfers to take golf holidays in Cascais.

Quinta da Marinha Golf Course

The Quinta da Marinha Golf Course is an 18-hole, par 71, golf course of 5,870 metres, designed by Robert Trent Jones.

The Quinta da Marinha golf course is an award winning golf course, receiving the honour of the IAGO award in 2007 for the Best Established Golfing Destination in Europe.

Oitavos Golf Course

The Quinta da Marinha Oitavos Golf Course is an 18-hole, par 71, golf course of 6,303 metres, designed by Arthur Hills.

The Oitavos golf course is the 1st golf course in Europe and the 2nd golf course in the world to be recognised as a Certified Signature Sanctuary – Gold.

Estoril Golf Course

The Estoril Golf Club is an 18-hole, par 69, golf course of 5,238 metres in length, designed by Mackenzie Ross. The Estoril Golf Club has hosted numerous golfing events, including the Portuguese Open 20 times and the International Amateur Championship 62 times.

The Golf Clubhouse has a Pro shop, a bar, changing rooms, a swimming pool and a restaurant.

Estoril Sol Golf Course

The Estoril Sol Golf Course is a 9-hole, par 31, golf course of 1,805 metres in length, designed by John Harris Wolveridge. There is also a full practice area and a putting green.

Penha Longa Golf Course

The Penha Longa golf resort, an upmarket golf course, designed by Robert Trent Jones, is divided into two golf courses: the Atlantic Golf Course and the Monastery Golf Course.

The Atlantic Golf Course is an 18-hole, par 72, championship golf course of 6,290 metres and has in the past been host to numerous competitions including the Portuguese Open.

The Monastery Golf Course is a 9-hole, par 35, golfcourse of 2,588 metres and is ideal for short morning or afternoon games.

Quinta da Beloura Golf Course

The Quinta da Beloura Golf Course, designed by American architecht Rocky Roquemore, is one of the newest golf courses built near the Estoril coastline, on land spreading between Cascais and Sintra.

The Beloura Golf Course is an 18-hole, par 72, golf course of 5,878 metres, built on land forming part of a residential development and so is relatively flat in comparison to other golf courses.
